Tufts team places second at MITRE event
A team of Tufts students took second place at the MITRE eCTF (embedded capture-the-flag) competition.
The MITRE eCTFÂ competition is an embedded security competition that invites participants to create a secure system and improve upon mistakes. The Tufts team, called the Anonymous Elephants, received second place out of fifteen competing student teams.
The Tufts team included five students in computer science: juniors Juliana Furgala, Spencer Perry, and Vladimir Porokhin and seniors Robert Goodfellow and Tom Hebb. Two students in electrical and computer engineering, M.S. student Geoffrey Keating and senior Richard Preston, were also members of the team.
